Welcome to our mapping page, so what is mapping and what can we actually map?
Good question, using our drones with RTK signal correction we can map any land or crop quickly and accurately.
So, what can we produce from this data?
From the multispectral mapping process we can extract all types of vegetation index to show either simply vegetation against other surroundings or crop or plant health status showing areas where plants may be stressed or need some extra nutrients.
From this data we can provide variable rate treatment maps allowing you to only fertilise or treat areas where it needs it allowing for reduce inputs or to even up crop growth across a field.
From the high resolution and RTK accurate RGB imagery we can spot and mark weeds in any crop type and produce coverage reports as well as targeted treatment maps to enable spot spraying or section control machines to only treat the required areas.
This allows for reduced chemical usage and cost savings, and all whilst reducing the environmental impact of conventional farming
Each time we fly an area we create a digital surface map (DSM), from this we can spot low areas of land, see which way water will run and predict run off or erosion paths.
From the DSM we can also create volume measurements of stockpiles, create cut and fill calculations for earthworks or create drainage layout or land grading plans, all ready to be uploaded to CAD drawing software or grading machinery.
